In the introductory part of the paper the author outlines a homogenized model for the incompressible, inviscid fluid flow in a domain \(D\) of the Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^d\) or in the periodic box \(\mathbb{R}^d/\mathbb{Z}^d\). He analyzes only potential fields of motions; the characteristics of the model are well exposed in Appendix 3 (``From the Euler equations to the homogenized equations''), where the author uses some own results published previously. The main concern of the paper is the mathematical study of the homogenized vortex sheet equations. Although these equations are ill-posed, they have interesting mathematical properties which are underlined and discussed in the paper. The principal headings of the paper give a general idea on the author's preoccupations in the field and a list of the obtained results: 1) homogenized, variational and strongly homogenized solutions; 2) existence of variational solutions for the time boundary value problem; 3) properties of variational solutions; 4) regularity of strongly homogenized solutions; 5) uniqueness of strongly homogenized solutions; 6) stability of strongly homogenized solutions. The paper ends with three appendices where some problems are analyzed left open in the paper. The paper is presented at a high mathematical level.
