The authors continue their investigations from a previous paper [\textit{V. Felli} and \textit{S. Terracini}, J. Differ. Equations 255, No. 4, 633--700 (2013; Zbl 1283.35057)] in connection to the asymptotic behavior of the implicit normalization for solutions to weighted eigenvalue problems in a dumbbell domain \(\Omega^{\varepsilon}\subset \mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 3\), which is formed by two half-spaces connected by a tube with length \(1\) and the cross-section is dependent of \(\varepsilon\). The \((N-1)\)-order singularity developed at a junction of the tube is thus described.
