The authors prove the uniform boundary Harnack principle in general open sets for harmonic functions with respect to a large class of rotationally symmetric purely discontinuous Lévy processes. This result generalizes theorems previously established by the same authors: see, for example, [Stochastic Processes Appl. 119, No. 5, 1601--1631 (2009; Zbl 1166.60046)].
