    Denote by \(PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) the space of all weighted ergodic functions \(f:\mathbb{R}\to X\), where \((X, \|\cdot \|)\) is a Banach space and the weight \(\rho:\mathbb{R}\to [0, \infty)\) is locally integrable on \(\mathbb{R}\) and \(\rho(x)>0\) for a.\,e. \(x\in \mathbb{R}\). Explicitly, \(f\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) means that \(f\) is bounded and continuous on \(\mathbb{R}\) and \({\mathcal{M}}(\|f\|_{X})=0\), where \(\|f \|_{X}=\sup\{\|f(x)\| ; x\in \mathbb{R}\}\) and \({\mathcal M}(g)=\lim_{r\to \infty}\frac{1}{\mu(r, \rho)}\cdot \int_{-r}^{r}g(s)\rho(s)d s\) with \(\mu(r, \rho)=\int_{-r}^{r}\rho(x)d x\). In this paper, several convolution invariance results on the space \(PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) are obtained. More exactly, sufficient conditions on \(k\) and \(\rho\) are indicated such that \(K(f)=k*f\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) for all \(f\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\), where \(K(f)(x)=(k*f)(x)=\int_{\infty}^{+\infty}k(t-s)f(s)ds\). As samples, the authors prove the following results. { Theorem.} {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] Suppose that \(k\in L^{1}(\mathbb{R})\) and that the weight \(\rho:\mathbb{R}\to [0, \infty)\) satisfies, in addition, \[ \lim_{r\to \infty}\int_{-r}^{r}\rho(x)d x=\infty \] and that for each \(s\in \mathbb{R}\), the inequality \[ \sup_{r\in \mathbb{R}_{+}}\sup_{t\in \Omega_{r, s}}\frac{\rho(t+s)}{\rho(t)}<\infty, \text{ where } \Omega_{r, s}=\{t\in \mathbb{R}; |t|<|s|+r\} \text{ for } r\geq 0, \] holds. Then \(f\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) implies \(K(f)\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\). \item [(ii)] If \(k\in L^{1}(\mathbb{R})\) and \(\rho\) satisfies \(\lim_{r\to \infty}\int_{-r}^{r}\rho(x)d x=\infty\) and \(\rho\) is bounded with \(\inf_{x\in \mathbb{R}}\rho(x)>0\), then \(f\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) implies \(K(f)\in PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\). \item [(iii)] Suppose that \(k\in L^{1}(\mathbb{R})\) and \(\rho\) satisfies \(\lim_{r\to \infty}\int_{-r}^{r}\rho(x)d x=\infty\). If \(PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) is translation invariant, then \(PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) is convolution invariant. \item [(iv)] If the inequality from the above point (i) holds, then \(PAP_{0}(X; \rho)\) is translation invariant. \end{itemize}} Applications to abstract integral and differential equations also are obtained.
