The authors consider measure-preserving maps \(F= (A,B)\) of the annulus \(\{(\vartheta,r)\): \(r_ 1\leq r\leq r_ 2\}\) of class \(C^{3+\gamma}\), \(0<\gamma\leq 1\), onto itself satisfying \(\partial A/\partial r> C> 0\). They prove that if \(F\) has a \(C^{2+\varepsilon}\) invariant curve \(\Phi\) with ``good'' rotation number \(\alpha\) then \(F\) has invariant curves filling a set of positive measure and of density 1 at \(\Phi\). \(\alpha\) is a ``good'' number if it is not ``too well approximable by rationals''. Actually, the hypothesis on \(\Phi\) can be weakened a bit.
