The very concept of quantum and studies thereon with the resulting theories of matter and radiation are the most interesting aspects of research in the recent times. Many deep problems connected with the quantum theory, quantum mechanics, quantum field theory and fundamental particle physics are being tackled courageously these days at different levels. General quantization is still an alive and active area of work at the hands of physicists and philosophers, too. The author, well-known for his outstanding contributions to theoretical physics, has in a somewhat informal style examined and explained here several aspects of quantization. The sections of the paper are: Quantization and regularization; Philosophical background (less is different, too, theory drift, the oldest game in town, relativism); general Quantization (warping, relativized spacetime, quantum constants, non-uniqueness, stages of general quantization, three line of theory); Quantification; Regularity and stability (stabilization by warping, regulators). A regular relativistic dynamics (regular space-time, singular field Lie algebra, regular field algebra, singular scalar dynamics, regular scalar dynamics) and results are presented. Use is made throughout of general quantization to convert the usual singular theory of the scalar meson to a finite theory with nearly the same algebras and symmetries in a correspondence domain. It is certainly striking to note at this point of time that so many distinct and important issues remain still unresolved in this almost a century old playing field with the quantum phenomena. Whether the present theories are complete or not in the real sense are open though a number of brilliant successes can be ascribed to the existing set up itself. The future definitely holds great challenges and promises, too, as indicated by this work.
