The authors investigate various aspects of statistical convergence for sequences of random variables as well as for sequences of real numbers via deferred Cesàro summability mean, provide appropriate examples, and demonstrate the effectiveness of their findings. As a by-product, they propose new Korovkin-type approximation results with algebraic test functions for Banach-valued sequences of random variables.
