Coupled Lorenz systems of ordinary differential equations are the subject of the paper. When the coupling between individual subsystems is linear with positive coefficients and is only added in the second variable, the authors are able to prove dissipativity of the coupled system, i.e., the boundedness of all solutions. Moreover, if the coupling is strong enough, then global complete synchronization takes place, under which all subsystems have asymptotically identical behavior as time \(t\to\infty\).
