Many people must have tried to use Clifford algebras in general relativity without achieving any useful simplification. Here success is gained by taking as elements of the Clifford algebras differential forms for the tetrad and the connexion. The result is an economical expression of the field equations in two equations, one of which is the structure equations for the tetrad and the other combines the Einstein field equations with the Bianchi identities.
