The authors study the polynomials \(e_n(x)= \sum_{k=0}^n \frac{x^k}{k!}\), \(h_n(x)= \sum_{r=0}^n \frac {(-1)^r x^r}{(r!)^2}\) and their associated forms by computing their properties such as recurrences, generating functions, integral representations. The study of these in the context of Appell and Laguerre family of polynomials leads them to obtain a few more of their properties. Owing to the applicability of these polynomials, the present paper provides interesting results.
