Let \(K\) be a field, \(G\) a reductive algebraic \(K\)-group, and \(G_1\leq G\) a reductive subgroup. The author studies the normalizer \(N=\mathcal N_G(G_1)\), the corresponding groups of \(K\)-points, in the case \(G=\text{SL}(m,K)\) and \(G_1=\text{SO}(m,K)\) with odd \(m\) (the case of even \(m\) was studied in a previous paper [part I, Glas. Mat., III. Ser. 46, No. 2, 385-414 (2011; Zbl 1241.20055)]). Here is the answer: \(N\cong G_1\rtimes\mu_m(K)\), the semidirect product of \(G_1\) by the group of \(m\)-th roots of unity in \(K\).
