The authors have studied the influence of temperature dependent viscosity and Prandtl number on the unsteady laminar nonsimilar forced convection flow over axisymmetric/two-dimensional bodies. The problem has been tackled by the use of implicit finite difference scheme. It has been found that: (1) injection and unsteadiness cause the zero friction localization to move upwards; (2) however, the Prandtl number and temperature dependent viscosity cause it to move downwards; (3) heat transfer strongly depends upon dissipation number, whereas the skin friction is not affected; (4) in general, the results due to variable fluid properties differ significantly.
