The authors prove the existence of traveling wave solutions of a Keller-Segel system in one space dimension. This fully parabolic chemotaxis model features slow cell diffusion and a general production of a chemoattractant term. Methods of singular perturbation theory and topological tools such as the Poincaré-Bendixson theorem are used.
