Suppose \(F(z)=\int^ z_ 0 [f(t)/t]dt\), \(| z|<1\) and \(f(z)\) is normalized by \(f(0)=f'(0)-1=0\). This operator has been studied by many authors, for example, when \(f(z)\) is starlike. The author's purpose is to estimate \(\beta\) so that if \(\text{Re }f'(z)>-\beta\), then \(F(z)\) is starlike. This techniques rely heavily on the principle of subordination.
