A result analogues to K. S. Brown's theorem on higher cohomologies of discrete groups is proved. Let \(p\) be a prime and \(G\) be a profinite group with finite virtual cohomological \(p\)-dimension \(d\). Then for every \(p\)-primary discrete \(G\)-module \(M\) the natural map \(H^n(G,M)\to H^n_G(AG,M)\) is bijective for every \(n\geq n_0\), where \(n_0=d+r\) if \(r>0\) and \(n_0=d+1\) if \(r=0\). Here \(AG\) is the simplicial boolean \(G\)-space formed by the elementary abelian \(p\)-subgroups \(\neq 1\) of \(G\), \(r\) is the maximal rank of such subgroups.
