The authors deal with the following 2D generalized Ginzburg-Landau equation \[ u_t= \alpha_0 u+\alpha_1\Delta u+\alpha_2|u|^2 u_x+ \alpha_3|u|^2 u_y+ \alpha_u u^2\overline u_x+ \alpha_5 u^2\overline u_y- \alpha_6|u|^{2\sigma}u.\tag{1} \] The authors study (1) under appropriate initial condition and inhomogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition and prove sufficient conditions for global existence.
