For the study of B-convergence of implicit Runge-Kutta methods (see \textit{R. Frank}, the second author and \textit{C. W. Ueberhuber} [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 18, 753-780 (1981; Zbl 0467.65032)]) the concepts of BS-stability and B-consistency have been introduced. The present article proves that both concepts are equivalent for initial value problems with a one-sided Lipschitz constant \(m\geq 0\).
