Having in mind the study of the regularity of weak solutions of the Boltzmann equation \[ \partial_t f + v\cdot \nabla_x f =Q(f,f) \] and of its linearized version \[ \partial_t f + v\cdot \nabla_x f =Lf, \] where \(Q(g,f)\) is the Boltzmann quadratic operator and \(Lf =Q(\mu,f)+Q(f,\mu)\) with \(\mu(v)=(2\pi)^{-3/2}e^{-| v| ^2/2}\), the authors present a generalized version of Feffermann's uncertainty principle. Proofs are only sketched and a more detailed discussion is announced in a forthcoming paper.
