The concept of a \(\mathcal P\)-regular semigroup was introduced by \textit{M. Yamada} and \textit{M. K. Sen} [Mem. Fac. Sci., Shimane Univ. 21, 47-54 (1987; Zbl 0648.20061)]\ as a generalization of both the concept of an orthodox semigroup and the concept of a regular *-semigroup. In this paper, an embedding theorem for a \(\mathcal P\)-regular semigroup is given in terms of a \(\mathcal C\)-partial band (for the definition, see the previous paper of the author [J. Shandong Norm. Univ. 8, 36-39 (1993)]) and a regular *-semigroup.
