The ABC model on an interval is an equilibrium system of three types of particles A, B and C on a one-dimensional lattice of \(N\) sites, with closed boundary conditions. Here, the model is generalized by introducing an additional interaction between the particles, which is characterized by potential functions depending linearly upon the particle positions. The scaling limit of the system is investigated and some properties of the solutions of the Euler-Lagrange equations are presented.
