One considers the equation which defines the inertial motion of a particle of mass \(m\) in the presence of damping forces and noises defined as the sum of Wiener processes. One starts from the general differential equation of motion, and one investigates its limit when the mass of the particles tends to zero. The limit of the momentum process plays a basic role in this derivation.
