The connections between models of statistical mechanics and models of genetic evolution is deepened and improvements of some existing approaches are suggested, which could contribute to a better understanding of the question. On shows how one can apply the Anderson's model of conduction in semiconductors to the general linear model of genotype populations. The concept of weak genetic diversity is put in evidence and nonlinearity induces stable genotype diversity.
