    Let \({\mathcal O}\) denote the ring of germs of real-analytic functions in \(0\in \mathbb{R}^n\) and \(\mathbb{D}\) the Lie-algebra of derivations of \({\mathcal O}\). If \(I\) is an ideal in \({\mathcal O}\) then let be \(\mathbb{D}_I:= \{D\in\mathbb{D}: D(I) \subset I\}\). At first the authors study the case that \(\mathbb{D}_I= \mathbb{D}_{\sqrt I}\). Then they consider the germ of the analytic space defined by \(I\) in \(0 \in \mathbb{R}^n\). It holds that \(I(X):= \{f\in {\mathcal O}:f\mid X=0\}= \root\mathbb{R} \of {I}\), \[ \root\mathbb{R} \of{I}: =\{f\in {\mathcal O}:f^{2m}+ \sum a_j^2\in I\text{ for }m \in \mathbb{N}\text{ and some }a_j\in{\mathcal O}\}. \] The authors show \(\mathbb{D}_I \subset \mathbb{D}_{\sqrt I}\subset \mathbb{D}_{\root\mathbb{R} \of{I}}\). In the last sections of the paper the authors study algebraic sets \(X,Y\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) and describe the relation between isomorphisms \(\mathbb{D}_Y \to\mathbb{D}_X\) and isomorphisms \(X\to Y\). The paper is related to the publication [\textit{H. Hauser} and \textit{G. Müller}, Manuscr. Math. 80, 309-337 (1993; Zbl 0805.14004)]. Of course the transition to the complexification plays an important role.
