The author extends his characterization of the integral transformation \(\varphi(t) \to \int_0^t \varphi(s)\,ds\) in \(L^2(0,1)\) to direct sums and finite commuting families of such transformations. (See the author [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 8, 351--363 (1964; Zbl 0145.39401)].)
