The paper deals with the construction of the condensation model and the possible applications to kinetic models for production and metabolism of very low density lipoprotein triglycerides. The use of block parameters may greatly simplify the equations relating block masses to steady-state inputs. Block parameters are also useful for summarizing large models or for comparing competing models. 21 ref.
