A new modified composite implicit iteration process for a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings is defined. By using this new modified composite implicit iteration process weak and strong convergence theorems for this family of mappings are obtained. The convergence theorems not only generalize the well known results; but also require less restrictive conditions. Besides, if the error terms are added in the iteration process and those are assumed to be bounded, then the results of this paper still hold.
