Let \(G(P)\) denote the Weierstrass gap sequence of the Hermitian function field at any place \(P\) of degree \(3\). From \(G(P)\) using the usual function-field method (described in Sec. 4), the authors provide some improvements on the designed minimum distance of the differential Hermitian code \(C_{\Omega}(D,mP)\), where the divisor \(D\) is the sum of all \(1\)-degree rational places.
