The author shows that the maximal homological degree of the non-zero homology groups of a (\(2k, 2kn\))-torus link is \(2k^2n\) by explicitly computing the homology groups in this homological degree. This homology group coincides with the center of the ring \(H_k\) of crossingless matchings, introduced by \textit{M. Khovanov} [Algebr. Geom. Topol. 2, 665--741 (2002; Zbl 1002.57006)]. Moreover, the author shows that the homological thickness of (\(2k, 2kn\))-torus links is at least \(k(k-1)n-2\) and computes the ranks of the homology groups of (\(3, n\))-torus knots for every \(n \in \mathbb N\).
