The authors develop their approach [see Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 337, No. 1, 389-409 (1993; Zbl 0787.13012)] and check the Green-Lazarsfeld conjecture for the set of \(n+3\) distinct points in \(\mathbb{P}^ n\), \(n\geq 3\), not contained in a hyperplane. They also prove that the minimal resolution conjecture holds for such a set if and only if any subset of \(n+2\) points does not lie on a hyperplane and any subset of \(n\) points does not lie on a codimension-two linear subspace of \(\mathbb{P}^ n\).
