    Ist \(g_m (\vartheta)= A_0 + \sum\limits_{i=1}^{m} (A_i \cos\vartheta + B_i \sin \vartheta)\) ein nichtnegatives trigonometrisches Polynom mit reellen Nullstellen, so ist für ein beliebiges nichtnegatives \(\lambda\) \[ \frac{A_m^2+B_m^2}{\lambda A_0^2+\sum\limits_{i=1}^{m}(A_i^2+B_i^2)}\geqq \frac2{C_{4m,2m}+\dfrac{\lambda-2}2C_{2m,m}^2}. \] Das Minimalpolynom, das, wie Verf. zuerst zeigt, lauter gleiche Nullstellen haben muß, hat die Gestalt \(C \left(1+ \cos(\vartheta+\alpha)\right)^m\). Vorher löst Verf. den schon von \textit{Blumenthal} (Math. Ann. 77 (1916), 390-403; F. d. M. 46, 462 (JFM 46.0462.*)) untersuchten Spezialfall (\(\lambda = 1\)) des Problems in der Form: Hat man \[ G_m(\vartheta)=1+\mathfrak R\sum\limits_{k=1}^{m}\gamma_ke^{ik\vartheta}, \] so ist \[ \frac2{C_{2m,m}}\leqq|\gamma_m|\leqq1. \]
