A two-dimensional model of wave propagation of Zakharov-Kuznetsov \(u_t+(u_{xx}+u_{yy}+u^p)_x=0\) is numerically studied for \(p=2,\, 3,\, 4\), and fast decaying initial data. In particular, questions related to \(L^2\) subcritical, critical and supercritical regimes: existence of solitons, their stability, blowup properties and selfsimilar blowup profiles are studied numerically. Methods include various delicate approaches via Fourier transform (and FFT) computations.
