Die Aufgabe lautet: Eine Formel zu finden, welche die Aufstellung unendlich vieler Ternen ganzer positiver Zahlen ermöglicht, deren Quadrate in arithmetischer Progression stehen. Lösung: \[ a=x^2-y^2-2xy,\quad b=x^2+y^2,\quad c=x^2-y^2+2xy. \] Die Lösungen von \textit{L. Longo} und \textit{Armida Villani} wurden preisgekrönt.
