Both in the continuous and discrete time settings, it is shown that a \(C^1\)-stable weakly shadowable and volume-preserving dynamical system on a compact manifold has a dominated splitting \(E\oplus F\). Both spaces \(E\) and \(F\) are volume-hyperbolic. In continuous time, (1) the splitting is for the linear Poincaré flow and assumes a divergence-free vector field, (2) on a 3-dimensional manifold one has an Anosov flow.
