A quasi-magnetostatic 3D eddy current model arises as a simplified model that approximates Maxwell's equations [cf. \textit{O. Biro} et al, IEEE Trans. Magn. 26, 418--423 (1990)]. The author presents and analyzes a fractional-step \textbf{A}-\(\psi\) scheme for quasi-stationary system of Maxwell's equations using the ungauged electromagnetic potentials by means of finite-element approximations. Bounds for continuous and discrete errors in finite time have also been given.
