This paper studies the astrophysical problem of radiation gas dynamics in curved space time by using the special relativistic equations in the Fermi-Walker frames. These are Lorentz-orthonormal frames obtained by parallel transport along a curve, here assumed to be locally co-moving with the average mass of the fluid. This paper presents an extensive review of this problem from both the physical and the mathematical viewpoints.
