Let \(M\) be a finitely generated \({\mathbb Z}^r\)-graded module over the ring \(S = k[x_0,\dots,x_n]\), where deg\((x_i)=\) \textbf{a}\(_i \in {\mathbb Z}^r\). The aim of this paper is to bound the multidegrees appearing in a minimal resolution of \(M\). More precisely, what is required is to find a finite subset \(D \subset {\mathbb Z}^r\) which contains all the multidegrees of the modules of minimal syzygies of \(M\). The main idea is to use different \({\mathbb Z}\)-gradings on \(S\) and \(M\) and Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of \(M\) as \({\mathbb Z}\)-graded \(S\)-module (thus obtaining non-finite sets \(D\)) and a generalized concept of Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity for multigraded modules.
