Summary: We study the fully developed flow of a generalized second-grade fluid down an inclined plane. The viscosity is not only a function of the shear rate (shear-thinning or shear-thickening) but also depends on the temperature in an exponential way. The effects of radiation boundary condition at the free surface are considered. The boundary value problem is solved numerically, and the velocity and temperature profiles are obtained for various dimensionless numbers.
