The author considers a free boundary value problem of Stefan type with convection, proving the existence of a weak solution and studying the regularity properties of this solution, in particular, its differentiability on either side of the interface and the Lipschitz continuity of the interface. The method is based on the analysis of the level curves of the weak solution near the free boundary.
