A hybrid vortex method with the random choice method to model the turbulent combustion phenomena is presented. With the assumption of incompressibility, the fluid motion can be uncoupled from the chemstry. The numerical technique is applied to a flow past a circular cylinder, which demonstrates an ability to resolve turbulent effects on flame front propagation.
