Let \(p\equiv 3\pmod 4\) be a prime number such that \(p>3\) and let \(k\geq 0\) be an integer. Let \(L(s,\mu)\) be the Hecke \(L\)-series of \(E={\mathbb Q}(\sqrt{-p})\) associated with a canonical Hecke character \(\mu\) of weight \(k\). When the root number (=\((2/p)(-1)^k\)) of \(\mu\) is \(-1\), the central special value \(L(1,\mu)\) is automatically \(0\), and the leading coefficient is most likely the central derivative \(L'(1, \mu)\). In this paper, the author gives an explicit formula to compute \(L'(1,\mu)\). In fact, the formula is about the partial \(L\)-series attached to each ideal class \(C\) of \(E\), and involves the sum which is the special value of a non-holomorphic modular form at a CM point \(\tau_{\mathfrak A}\), where \(\mathfrak A\) is a primitive integral ideal in the class \(C\). The proof uses a result in [the author, J. Reine Angew Math. 485, 25-53 (1997; Zbl 0867.11037)] to write the Hecke \(L\)-series as the sum of certain ``incoherent'' Eisenstein series valued at some CM point, and uses \textit{S. Kudla}'s idea [Ann. Math. (2) 146, 545-646 (1997; Zbl 0990.11032)] to compute the central derivative of the Eisenstein series.
