The authors present an integral representation for potentials with respect to a semigroup \((P_t)_{t>0}\) or a resolvent of kernels by means of an additive kernel (i.e. a kernel \(K\) such that \(P_tK(x,A)=K(x,A+t)\)). The proof is inspired by the well-known case of regular potentials of right processes, as in [\textit{M. Sharpe}, General theory of Markov processes, Academic Press (1988; Zbl 0649.60079)].
