It is an interesting and a classical problem to determine the surjective isometries of a given Banach space \(X\). In the present paper the authors characterize the surjective isometries of a class of analytic functions on the disk including the analytic Besov space \(\mathcal B_{p}\) and the Dirichlet space \(\mathcal D^{p}\) (see Theorem 4.1). In the case of \(\mathcal B_{p}\) they determine all linear isometries (see Corollary 2.2). These isometries consist of a finite rank perturbation of integral operators. This is in contrast with the case of Hardy space for instance. The surjective isometries on the space \(\mathcal S^{p}\), consisting of all analytic functions \(f\) on the unit disk such that \(f'\) belongs to \(H^{p}\), are characterized in Corollary 5.2 and the surjective isometris on the Dirichlet space \(\mathcal D^{p}\) are described in Theorem 5.4. This is an interesting paper for those interested in the geometry of classical Banach spaces.
