The authors analyse the cases, where from the X-rays in horizontal, vertical and two other directions it is possible or not to reconstruct a three-dimensional structure. Subject to specific conditions on the X-rays directions, the authors point out a conjecture saying that there is a great number of convex polyominoes (i.e., discrete sets which are convex with respect to the vertical direction) having the same horizontal and vertical X-rays.
