Continuing his papers on sunspot equilibria and on overlapping generations economies [see e.g. the author, On the connection between correlated and sunspot equilibria, in ``Current Trends in Economics: Theory and Applications'', A. Alkan et al. (eds.), Springer, New York, 141--156 (1999; Zbl 1073.91611)] the author deals in this paper with questions of the reversibility (``can be read backwards'') of equilibria of an overlapping generations economy. He gives corresponding conditions, proofs and interesting examples embracing especially the case when an (extrinsic) uncertainty is introduced in the economy.
