The author of the paper under review studies Hankel operators on generalized Bergman spaces \(A_\vartheta^2\) on the polydisc. It is shown that, if \(f\) is a continuous function on the closed polydisc, then the Hankel operator \(H_f\) is compact if and only if \(f\) can be represented as \(f=h+g\), where \(h\in A_\vartheta^2\) and \(\lim_{z\to\partial{\mathbb D}^n}g(z)=0\).
