The paper is concerned with the existence of multiple solutions to the \(L^p\)-Minkowski problem. The \(L^p\)-Minkowski problem deals with the existence and uniqueness of a nondegenerate convex body \(K\) in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\), containing the origin in its interior, whose \(p\)-area measure is equal to \(f d \text{Vol}_{S^n}\), namely \(H^{1-p}d\mu = f d \text{Vol}_{S^n}\), where \(H \in C^0(S^n\)) is the support function and \(\mu \) is the ordinary area measure of \(K\). The following multiplicity result is proved. Let \(p <-n\). Then for any positive integer \(N\) there exists a positive function \(f_N \in C^\infty(S^n)\) such that the equation \(H^{1-p}d\mu = f d \text{Vol}_{S^n}\) admits at least \(N\) different smooth solutions. Furthermore there exists a positive bounded nonsmooth function \(f \in L^\infty\) such that this equation has infinitely many \(C^{1,1}\) solutions.
