The main motivation for the obtained results in this paper is the question of whether a Sasakian metric can admit an additional compatible (K)-contact structure or not. They mention that the answer to this question is known to be affirmative since there are examples when the second \(g\)-compatible contact structure is also Sasakian. Indeed in the complete case, the works of \textit{S. i. Tachibana} and \textit{W. N. Yu} [Tohoku Math. J. (2) 22, 536--540 (1970; Zbl 0213.48301)], and \textit{S. Tanno} [J. Math. Soc. Japan 22, 579--590 (1970; Zbl 0197.48004)] impose the fact that the only examples are the cases when the manifold is a 3-Sasakian or an odd-dimensional sphere with constant curvature. The authors refine the above-mentioned question and ask whether it is possible to have a second non-Sasakian contact structure on a Sasakian manifold or not. By considering this question, they obtained some interesting results in dimensions 3 and 5 (see Theorem 1.3 proved in Section 3 and Theorems 1.4 and 1.5 proved in Section 4).
