The author considers a compact semi-algebraic set \({\mathbf K}\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) and, for a given real sequence \({\mathbf y}=(y_\alpha)\), \(\alpha\in {\mathbb N}^n\), finds a necessary and sufficient condition to have a finite representing Borel measure absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue measure on \(\mathbf K\), with a density in \(\bigcap_{p\geq 1}L_p(\mathbf K)\). Moreover, if a bounding parameter restriction is added, a necessary and sufficient condition insures the existence of a density in \(L_{\infty}(\mathbf K)\). The nonexistence of such a density can be emphasized by using finitely many of a hierarchy of semi-definite programs.
