A note on the spectrum of composition operators on spaces of real analytic functions (Q513401): Difference between revisions

Let \(X\) be the space of all real analytic functions on the real line endowed with the natural locally convex topology. If \(\varphi\) is a real-valued, real analytic function on the real line, then it induces a continuous composition operator \(C_\varphi: X\to X\). The paper under review determines the spectrum of \(C_\varphi\) on \(X\) for some symbol functions \(\varphi\) and gives estimates for the spectrum of \(C_\varphi\) for more general symbols.
