    Es sei \(\lim \limits _{t\to +0}\varphi (t)\) nicht vorhanden, auch dann nicht, wenn eine beliebige Nullfunktion von \(\varphi (t)\) subtrahiert wird. Unter dieser Voraussetzung wird beweisen, daß\ dann auch keine Konstante \(a\) existiert, für welche \[ \lim \limits _{h\to +0}\frac {1}{h}\int \limits _0^h | \varphi (t)-a| dt=0 \] gilt. Die Anwendung dieses Satzes auf \(\varphi (t)= \dfrac {f(x_1+t)+f(x_1-t)}{2}\) ergibt Fälle, in denen das \textit{Lebesgue}sche Summabilitätskriterium versagt.
